For those who crave liberation from the limitations of the ordinary self, and immediate contact with the wonder of humanity’s deeper potentials

Riveting interviewer and founder of Sounds True, Tami Simon, talks with Diamond Approach founder A.H. Almaas (Hameed Ali) and teacher Zarina Maiwandi to help sincere truth seekers learn more about the Diamond Approach (also called the Diamond Path) and the first-ever, all-online Diamond Approach group.

In this interview, Tami, Hameed, and Zarina uncover the answers to these questions:

How is the Diamond Path different from Buddhist, Hindu, Sufi, and other nondual paths? Must we renounce all their ancient wisdom or do these teachings expand that wisdom in a more contemporary way?

Is it necessary to commit to a path? Doesn’t transformation happen just as completely with a do-it-yourself amalgamation of meditation, yoga, and reading books?

Can the Diamond Path help turn glimpse experiences of oneness into ongoing nondual awareness?

Do we need a spiritual discipline and separate psychotherapeutic work to address everyday life and relationships? What is the unique way the Diamond Path brings psychological work and spiritual work together?

What if someone’s experience doesn’t unfold the way others’ do? Is everyone welcome to be where they are without any religious dogma or specific spiritual prescriptions?

Isn’t the Diamond Approach complicated? Is there a simple, practical way to benefit from the precision of this method?

What does transformation look like from the perspective of the Diamond Path? Is there a goal to reach and how do we know if we’ve reached it?

What is necessary for someone to embark on a path like this? Who is it for? Where do we start?
