Embodying the Love of Truth

What does it mean for this life in a human body to be all that it can be—for the truth of our inner nature to come forward and be how we live?

We each have a unique relationship with our body that includes both positive and negative experiences. As with many things in life, our negative encounters may carry more weight than the positive in how we think about our body and its role on our spiritual journey.

As a result, we may not realize the extent to which our bodies can be a powerful resource of support and place of integration of our inner nature and our outer life.

Especially during these evocative times, when our biologically hard-wired human instincts are both driving and responding to world events in raw and often unconscious ways, it is understandable that we might prefer to turn away from rather than towards our embodied experience.

However, as Linda gives us a taste of in the video above, there is an orientation we can take to whatever is happening in our direct felt sense that allows even challenging experiences to open up to something more essential in us. In fact, as we honor our wish to understand the truth of our experience and learn to orient to our body from this gracious, accepting posture, we discover that the beauty and treasures of the universe can unfold before us.

Over time we come to know directly that our particular body not only has value and importance, it is an agent of true nature.

If you are intrigued by this possibility, we invite you to join Diamond Approach teachers Linda Krier and Jessica Britt to explore how each of the primal instincts—social, sexual, and survival—live in your body now and can be portals to fulfilling your potential.

Over three weekends, we’ll deepen our ability to listen to the stories of our bodies, discover the true nature of our instincts, and learn to embody the rich inner resources that lie dormant within us so we can touch the world from the wisdom of our full-bodied, spiritual nature.
